Dr Alex Williams

Dr Alex is a GP with an interest in skin cancer medicine.

Dr Alex graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2019 with a Doctor of Medicine (MD). He completed his junior doctor years working in Perth. During that time, he joined the Australian Army Reserve as a Medical Officer and proudly served for 3 years.

At the start of 2024, Dr Alex moved to Brisbane for specialty training. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in May 2026. Dr Alex also holds a Certificate of Dermoscopy and a Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine from the Skin Cancer College Australasia. He is currently undertaking a Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer at the University of Queensland. Otherwise, he enjoys all aspects of general practice including chronic disease management, weight management, musculoskeletal medicine, and men's health.

Outside of medicine, Dr Alex is a triathlon superfan with a passion for middle- and long-distance racing but will still regularly toe the start line in the Queensland Triathlon Series. He is also a diehard Iron Maiden fan.
