Dr Gavin Williams

Dr Gavin Williams graduated from ANU Medical School in Canberra and did his post graduate training in North Queensland.

Dr Williams has worked extensively in rural and remote areas of Queensland and NSW providing care to the local communities in Emergency Medicine as well as general practice. He has combined this experience of rural and remote medicine to help provide better holistic care to his patients.

Dr Williams has a special interest in skin cancer medicine, and has spent time working in a dedicated skin cancer clinic as well as undertaking further training in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. He has completed courses affiliated with the University of Queensland in Primary and Advanced Skin Cancer Surgery and Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr Williams works hard to collaboratively help his patients better manage and have a greater understanding of their health.

When not in the clinic Dr Williams enjoys spending time with his young family and enjoys fishing, camping and motor sports.
